About us

Kauno Tiltai is one of the largest transport infrastructure construction companies in the Baltic States. Since we began our operations in 1949, we have built more than 200 bridges and viaducts and constructed and renovated numerous roads throughout Lithuania. We implement projects throughout the country, and our offices are located not only in Kaunas, but also in Vilnius, Klaipėda, Kėdainiai, Tauragė, and Vievis.

We implement about 300 projects per year, ranging from small jobs to the largest infrastructure projects in the country. We give each of them the same amount of attention, because quality is our top priority. We have our own certified laboratory, whose tests are recognized throughout the European Union.

In more than 70 years, our activities have expanded far beyond roads and bridges. We also work on tunnels, railways, air and water port infrastructure, build engineering networks, install landfills, and manufacture building materials.

Our team consists of more than 1,000 people, including over 200 highly qualified engineers specializing in transport infrastructure construction.

The company is currently part of the Polish capital group Trakcja S.A. This group is part of the state-owned company Polish Railways.
